Reservation Policies & Rates
Reservations are by phone or email only. If you want us to call you, simply email your phone number and we will call you back.
We can and do accept personal checks. To confirm your reservation, a deposit must be made within one week of your booking. Deposit is equal to one half of the total rental amount due including Tax. The balance must be received 2 weeks prior to check-in. This allows time to contact you with the lock-box combination. We take all major credit cards with our PayPal account. It is very safe and secure, the most widely use payment program on the Internet. Click on the PayPal Buy Now icon just below. If you have a PayPal account click on Have a PayPal account. Just fill in the amount, email and password - that's it. If you don't have a PayPal account click on Don't have a PayPal account. You will be redirected to a screen for credit card usage. Just fill in the amount, card number, billing address, telephone and email - it's that easy. YOU MUST get a telephone or email quote before you pay anything. Credit card payments are 3% above our stated prices. This is just how much using a credit card costs us, no more. First choose the days you want, get a quote and then log into this page and click the button below to make your payment.
We allow reservations to be made up to one year in advance. If you make a reservation for next year you will be charged a service fee of $75 to be sent after making the reservation. If you keep your reservation with us it will be credited towards your stay. If you do not keep your reservation with us it is non-refundable. Shortly after the new year we will send you a notice reminding you of your reservation. It will have the first half-payment which is due one week after you receive the notice. The final payment and security deposit is due 2 weeks prior to your stay.
In addition, a fully refundable security deposit ($400/Cottage & $200/Farside) must be included with the final payment. This deposit will be promptly returned to you by mail, after a check of the property following your departure finds no damages, loss or additional cleaning. If your are paying by credit card we will either transfer the deposit back to your PayPal account, or write you a check and mail it.
Check-in time is 4:00 PM, check-out is 11:00 AM, unless prior arrangements are made.
No pets, motor-homes, campers, trailers or tents are permitted on the property. All two facilities are .
Cancellations made prior to 30 days before arrival will be refunded, minus a $75.00 cancellation fee. Late cancellations will be refunded only if owners are able to re-book the time.

A Wallowa County room tax (5%) is not included in our rates.
Oregon has levied another NEW Tax on unsuspecting vacationers. We have to collect another (1%) for the State. This makes your tax bill (6%) above our prices.
